I am an evolutionary geneticist interested in understanding how interactions between organisms and their environments generate biological diversity, particularly when those patterns become predictable. My research combines field collections with molecular, population genetic, & ecological approaches across a diversity of organisms & environments.

I aim to engage students as whole people, connecting scientific principles to their own interests and experiences while rooting lessons in applications beyond the classroom. Regardless of class or discipline, I genuinely enjoy mentoring curious minds and equipping students with the skills necessary to critically engage with an increasingly complex world.
